Is Rob in your car?? 06/01/07

(Crossing Cafe Deni)

Aren't mobile phone's wonderful. Just ask Rob and he'll tell you that there are quite possibly the greatest invention since man created the saxaphone or cigarettes! The occupants of both cars each thought Rob was in the other car, and god only knows how, but he got left behind at an Echuca petrol station! I know we saw the lighter side of it, but Rob sure didn't. We weren't worried, we all know that Rob has excellent navigational and tracking skills and would have no doubt found his way home eventually. It's no secret that Rob is able to survive for months on a diet of yams, cigarettes and adult movies. Ok now I guess I should write something about the show.........let me start by saying, man was it hot. We spent the arvo in the local hotel pool before we hit the stage, but that didn't help cool us off. My fingers felt like they were ice skating over the fret board. We kicked off the night with a small acoustic set which went over great, complete with Dazza on the conga's. Then we ripped into two monster sets, getting the dancers on their feet, and had a ball in doing so. We tried out a rippin new tune called 'Gig is over' which we have been dyin to unleash, and it went over a treat. A big thanks to Brett for all the hospitality and pizza (oh and nice guitar playin too!!) After the show we hit the hotel pool again and no night is complete without sitting up and watching a Japanese game show on the telly.
